YouTube Vanced was a widely used modded version of YouTube with features such as ad-blocking, background playing, and SponsorBlock. It is no longer available, but alternatives like ReVanced have since taken its place. If YouTube Vanced is still available, to use it you would normally download the Vanced Manager app from a legitimate source, install YouTube Vanced and MicroG (for signing in), and set up such settings as dark mode or ad settings. As official support ceased, try ReVanced, which can be patched on the current versions of YouTube for the same functionality. Be always wary of unofficial sources to prevent security threats.
